Dave Dai

Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Dave first joined Cellon in 2002. He has been the Chairman & CEO for Cellon since March 2007.

Dave has more than 15 years of management experience in the wireless industry. Prior to his time at Cellon, Dave held positions at Nokia, Huawei Technology and Capital Group. 

He earned both his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Engineering at Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications.

Dave’s native language is Mandarin Chinese and he is fluent in English.

JiaJia Zou

Chief Financial Officer

Jiajia joined the Cellon team in 2011 as CFO.

She has experience in management consulting, investment banking and private equity/venture capital. Prior to joining Cellon, JiaJia worked for Deloitte, Unicredit Banking Group, J.P. Morgan and Sequoia Capital China.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree at Tsinghua University and her Master’s Degree at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany.

Jiajia’s native language is Mandarin Chinese and she is fluent in English.

Eddie Wu

General Counsel

Eddie first joined Cellon in 2005 as Senior Legal Director. Since 2007 he has taken on the role of Board Director and General Counsel with global responsibility of all legal activities throughout Cellon and Cathay Group.

Eddie has more than 15 years of legal experience in the IT&T industry sector and cross jurisdictions. He held senior legal positions at Atos Origin (North Asia) and Morgan Stanley R.E Fund.

He holds a LLB from Beijing University of Commerce and Industry, and a LLM and MIT from the University of Newcastle (Australia).

His native language is Mandarin Chinese and he is fluent in English.

Frank Yang

Senior Vice President, Engineering

Frank first joined Cellon in 2001 as Hardware Director. After the company MBO in 2007, Frank took on the role of Senior VP of Engineering.

He has more than 13 years of engineering management experience in the mobile phone industry. Prior to his time at Cellon, Frank worked for GSM R&D Center of Guangzhou Communication Institute.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Wireless Communication at Xi’an Electrical Technology University. He then went on to earn his MBA at Peking University.

Frank’s native language is Mandarin Chinese and he is fluent in English.

James Zhu

Senior Vice President, Operations

James joined Cellon in 2006.

He has more than 20 years of management experience in the wireless industry. Prior to his time at Cellon, James held operation management positions at Philips and Vtech.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology. He then went on to earn his MBA at the University of Wales.

James’ native language is Mandarin Chinese and he is fluent in English.

Michael Fu

Senior Vice President, International

Michael first joined Cellon in 2002.

He has more than 11 years of management experience in the mobile phone industry. Prior to his time at Cellon, Michael held management positions for overseas markets at Techfaith and Longcheer.

Michael’s native language is Mandarin Chinese and he is fluent in English.

Rick Wen

Senior Vice President, China BU

Rick joined Cellon in 2004.

He has more than 15 years of management experience in the mobile phone industry. Prior to his time at Cellon, Rick held management positions at TOP Group.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Measurement Technology and Instrument at the University of Electronics Science and Technology of China in 1992. He then went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Information & Communication Engineering at Northeastern University (China) in 2001.

His native language is Mandarin Chinese and he is fluent in English.

Emmanuel Moire

Vice President, Marketing & Business Development EMEA, Japan

Emmanuel joined Cellon in 2000.

He has more than 18 years of working experience in heavy industry, FMCG and consumer electronics. He has played various key roles in business management, supply chain & quality management, and sourcing at Hitachi, Colgate Palmolive Chemicals, SFR franchise France, Philips, Cellon Intl, and Smart Electronic.

Emmanuel holds a BS in Industrial IT from Angers University, a MS from CESI Institute and an MBA from ESCAP Business School in Nantes.

Emmanuel’s native language is French. He is fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin Chinese and German.

Albert Shan

Vice President, Product Marketing

Albert first joined Cellon in 2003.

He has 10 years of experience in telecommunication radio access networks and wireless handsets, with a focus on R&D and Product & Marketing. Prior to joining Cellon, Albert worked for CECW, Nollec and Longcheer with positions in ASE Architecture, Senior Project Management, and Product & Marketing.

He earned his PhD in Information Engineering and Control from Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, Sichuan.

Albert’s native language is Mandarin Chinese and he is fluent in English.

Jimmy Liu

Vice President, Software Development General Manager, Cellon Chengdu

Jimmy joined Cellon in 2001, and has since held various management positions within the company’s engineering team. He has spent a considerable amount of time at Cellon in our Vancouver, Canada and Le Mans, France offices.

He has more than 15 years of experience in wireless mobile SW design.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at Fudan University and his Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering at Zhejiang University.

Jessica Song

Senior Quality Director

Jessica Song joined Cellon in 2004. She was promoted to Quality Manager in January 2007 and has been Quality Director since 2009.

Jessica has more than 15 years of experience in quality management, with more than 12 of those years having been in the wireless industry. Prior to her time at Cellon, Jessica worked for Philips in the quality management department.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering at Chendu University of Science and Technology.

Jessica’s native language is Mandarin Chinese and she is fluent in English.
